So how does it work?

It starts with a phone call or an e-mail.  Mail your copy. Agree a timescale and a fee with Emma. Then have a pre-production chat on the phone.  Talk about pace, style, tone of voice, as well as any special timings or emphases and tricky pronunciations. Once you're singing from the same sheet, Emma will carefully record your voiceover to broadcast quality and mail it to you.  And if you don't have ISDN, you are welcome to sit in and direct the session by phone.

What will I get?

A clean and crisp master ready to load.  Emma takes great pride in the high technical quality of her work. You'll find it's as loud and clean as anything recorded in expensive West End studios. You'll get a cleaned up master with no coughs or re-takes. You may get alternate versions of certain phrases to maximize your choices in editing.

Choose any audio format you like. Emma favours CD quality wav files sent via FTP, but a host of other formats are available.

How long does it take?

Emma's quick. She know that voiceover is often the last piece of your particular puzzle. She also knows you hate to wait. So, usually the job is on your desk next day. Longer projects - like educational CD-ROMS - naturally, take longer. She won't make a promise she can't keep and don't be surprised if your job turns up same day!

But I only need a few lines. How much?

Say you need two minutes of narration to top and tail a presenter driven video.  Normally, that could get quite expensive.  Emma takes a flexible approach and charge small projects on a friendly pro rata basis.

You said a word wrong...

Everything is carefully checked before it leaves here, but in the rare event of a goof, you'll get it fixed fast at no charge. You are paying a fee for a job done correctly.  Emma is never happy until you are.

My client wants to change a few words...

Not a problem.  It happens. And, chances are, you'll only attract a small "fixing fee".

Can I direct Emma?

Of course!  If you don't have ISDN, just agree a session time and phone in.  You'll be patched through to Emma's playpit - have your way with her!
