Emma's playpit is crammed full of toys that are state of the art.

Emma's microphone of choice is a vintage Neumann U-87. American clients may prefer her Sennheiser MKH 416 stick mic. Narrations sound great through a Shure SM7B - yes, a dynamic microphone - you'll be impressed.

A Focusrite mic amp will give you a rich detailed sound with very little EQ or compression.

Recording is done direct to disc via an M-Audio Delta soundcard. It's the audiophiles choice for clarity and accuracy.

Emma's booth is the heart of it all. Designed to match BBC specs, it's as good as anything you'll find in the West End. Nice and dead, but not too boxy.

ISDN codec is a Prima 120. The Prima is a Musicam Layer 2 and G722 codec - also compatible with Telos Zephyr, CCS CDQ2000 and Comrex G.722 / CCS Micro 56.
